Yeah, I should, this way I can get attention everytime something really shitty, funny, or epiphamatic happens to me. (is "epiphamatic" is a word)
Anyways, sounds like a plan to me. Maybe this would be a good place to tell the stories I have running around in my head. Writing them down anywhere else is just plain boring, especially since I wont get any recognition for it.

Every time I add a journal entry I will write a short poem or something cool and deep at the end.

For now, here are my thoughts on faster than light speed travel.

In order to accelerate to the speed of light with any kind of engine, you would have to use up a lot of energy. So much energy that as your mass increases due to the amount of fuel you use thus slowing down your rate of acceleration directly. So instead of basic thermo dynamic engineering and internal propultion theories, one must consider a source of energy that exists outside of the space craft that could push or pull the craft and accelerate it to the speed of light. What immediately comes to mind is gravity or anti gravity. Using precisely focused electromagnetic waves one could create a well of gravity (or miniature black hole) and be pulled toward it forever with the well maintaining a fixed permanent distance from the craft. However, the problems that occur here is that as the gravity well increases it's strength of pull it will stretch the ship as the front of the ship would be pulled on harder than the back end. This differentiation in pull would create intolerable stress levels on the structure of the ship no matter what construction method or materials used. It would get to the point where the ship is stretched out into a long strand of atoms. This would no doubt destroy any navigational, scientific, and exploratory equipment or astronauts onboard. According to the theory of relativity, the only source of gravity that could make something fall at the speed of light without any incuring deccelerating factors slowing the ship down (like micro meteorites, or miscelanious subatomic friction) is a black hole. Obviously this plan goes right out the window since a black hole is automatically considered inescapable, not even light itself can escape a black hole, a ship intact even at the speed of light would not be able to escape either. Also, it would take way to much energy to make a black hole to begin with. You might as well find some way to black holes, but even then, the fundamental problems with using black holes become self evident no matter what kind of black hole you use. It would tear a craft to atoms. Gravity is a tricky thing. It's an force of opposing and attractive forces, and in some circles both forces are considered one in the same. If one could cut gravity into seperate forces of push and pull, one could win the nobel peace prize for science.
Now why would one want to split gravity into regular gravity and anti gravity? This way, one could essentially gain push and pull at the same time, inertia in its most basic elements are bits of these positive and negative gravitons with the positive always winning. If you cut out the positive, the anti gravity will always be the dominant force and thus it would disempower the disturbance that is inertia. But now that I think about it, anti gravity would not work since it WOULD destroy any matter into its subatomic particles. It would mess up the orbitals and wave patterns of matter and energy withing the immediate vicinity. In fact, if one built a bomb or ray that takes the positive force of gravity in matter, it would obliterate all matter that this ray or bomb came into range with.

So what's left? Can't use propultion because it causes too many fundamental dilemas. Cant use gravity because it turn you into string, can't use anti gravity because it would turn you into a pile of subatomic dust. Hmmm. Maybe light speed is impossible, but how is it that light can forever move at the speed of light without ever decelerating? Is there something pulling it? Is there something pushing it? No, it is the undisturbable nature of light *with the exception of gravity*. Light seems to be programed by god to just go foreward. It's particles that tussle and become a wave as they move in straight lines. A wave an a particle at the same time. How does light do that? There is a self evident reason for why light does this but that would be getting off the subject if i went into it. So, if scientists could figure out how to turn matter into light or have the same infalible qualities of light waves/particles we could move at the speed of light very easily and without being killed. How do we do that? We introduce some formula that turns matter into light or makes matter have the same properties of light that can be neutralized remotely. A chemical???? A chemical is what will move humans at the speed of light? And not some hyper drive engine or anti gravity generator??? That's right. You simply bath the space ship in a blob of this stuff made out of "still light particles", then charge the ship inside the blob, the property of this chemical allows it to exist in four dimensions, allowing it to co exist in the same area of time and space as matter already there. the ship can then accelerate as the blob of still light subtracts any intertia to any external perception but anything within the blob is percieved within it to have inertia, so the matter of the ship wont simply fall apart since this still light has managed to stablize the opposing and attracting forces while maintaining their structure.

ok, that makes very little sense but anyways, here's the stuff.

I, I just died in your arms tonight. What arms? What arms? You were also already dead when I got here. Oh I just died.
